Cub Scout Pack 3728 serves kids in kindergarten through 5th grade in Prior Lake and Savage, MN. We help kids build confidence, character, and lifelong friendships through hands-on adventure.
When We Meet
Pack and Den meetings are generally held the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month during the school year, from 6:30-7:30pm, at the McColl Pond Environmental Learning Center in Savage, MN.
What We Do
Throughout the year, Pack 3728 scouts take part in:
- Monthly Pack and Den meetings and activities
- Activities that focus on outdoors, personal fitness, citizenship, leadership and building character
- Pinewood Derby
- Family weekend campouts in fall and spring
- Summer council-lead weekend camping program
- Winter day camp
- Holiday party
- Vetrans day program
- Service projects
- Field trips
- Hiking
- And more FUN for all!
Community Involvement
Pack 3728 gives back to the community we’re part of throughout the year, including:
- Dan Patch Days & Parade
- Coin Carnival
- Community Clean-up Day
- Toys for Tots
- School spring Family Nights
- Community Fall Fest
Pack Funding
- BSA national and council registration fees are paid as part of online registration
- Pack 3728 doesn’t charge additional pack dues - our program is funded through fundraising instead

- We are committed to making Scouting available to ALL families. Families that need registration financial aid should apply at goscouting.org/fin-aid
Uniform Guide
- Kindergarten (Lion): Cub Scout T-shirt
- Grades 1-3 (Tiger, Wolf, Bear): Official blue Cub Scout uniform shirt
- Grades 4-5 (Webelos, Arrow of Light): Official tan Scouts BSA uniform shirt, belt, and neckerchief with slide
Any blue or khaki pants/shorts work fine - there’s no required uniform bottom. Uniforms and insignia can be purchased at the Northern Star Scout Shop or online.
